paste a letter, a form, an email. aethel says it in plain words, marks the parts that matter, checks it for the shape of a scam, drafts your reply, and rehearses the call with you. all of it happens here, on this device.

a teenager at the kitchen table, holding a letter the grown-ups cannot read. aethel was built for her. it understands the letter, shows what it hides, rehearses the call nobody helps with, and hands a calm version back to the family. its own engine does this offline, so what is private stays in the room.
Paste an official letter, a form, or an email, Aethel explains it, flags scams, drafts a reply, and rehearses the call.

Aethel reads English. For anything else, your browser translates it first, right here on this computer, so your letter never goes to a translation service. Each language is a one-time download and then works offline.
This browser can't translate on-device. It needs desktop Chrome or Edge, version 138 or newer. Aethel still works in English here.
Downloads can be large and take several minutes on the first one. They're stored by your browser, not by Aethel, and you only ever need to do this once per computer.
